Solid brass that's been chemically treated to create a dark, iron-like appearance. Left unlacquered and protected with a light wax coating, it will evolve gently over time whilst offering some protection from immediate environmental exposure.

With use, the finish may lighten to reveal brass undertones beneath, particularly in high-contact areas. The wax coating will wear away naturally unless reapplied.

How it will age: The waxed surface will develop unique character with use. You may notice a softening of the colour in high-contact areas and gradual lightening that reveals warm brass undertones beneath.

After installation: We recommend reapplying wax after installation to maintain protection and consistent appearance during early use. Clean gently with warm water and avoid allowing moisture to sit on the surface.
