Tumbled Bronze combines chemical darkening with a gentle tumbling process to create a muted, low-sheen surface with deep bronze tones and softly worn highlights. The two-stage finish removes high shine and draws out an earthy depth. Here the surface is sealed with a fine lacquer. Unlike our living finishes, this one is held in place. The lacquer keeps water, touch and air off the metal, so the colour, the sheen and the worn highlights stay as they leave the workshop.

How it holds: Lacquered Tumbled Bronze doesn’t patina. The protective layer keeps the finish settled and even, with no darkening and no shift in tone over time. What you see at installation is what it keeps. The variation worked into each piece is fixed at the point of finishing, so no two are quite alike.

After installation: Protect the surface from construction materials during installation. Clean gently with warm water and a soft cloth, avoiding acidic or abrasive cleaners that can mark or wear the lacquer. Handled simply, the finish stays as made.
