Private Residence, Paris

Featured in Madame Figaro, this home just outside Paris by Charles and Maylis Tassin showcases how unlacquered polished brass develops unique character over time. Each piece has aged differently - responding to touch, water, and the rhythms of daily life. The patina that's developed tells the story of a home that's lived in, not preserved. No two taps look identical, and that's exactly the point. The brass has settled into its environment, becoming part of the space rather than just sitting within it.
