This house looks over the River Test, a rare chalk stream in Hampshire. The aim was to open the house up to the view as much as possible. Successfully done with a thoughtful glazing plan. There's a pale colour palette running throughout the house. It's soft and inviting. And contrasts with darker tones found in pieces of furniture and the fittings. Specified in the bathroom are Studio Ore pieces from Chapter One. All in lacquered bronze, they'll hold their tone over time. The rich, dark brown working perfectly with the cream surfaces.
