Starting from closed position, initial rotation opens cold water only, then gradually introduces hot water as you continue rotating, ending at maximum flow with hottest temperature. Energy-saving design prevents unnecessary hot water activation. Designed for in-wall installation with valve body concealed. Simpler alternative to thermostatic valves for basic shower installations.
