Our Story

Studio Ore was born out of founder Daniel Lee’s vision for his own home. Undertaking a renovation project in 2014, he envisaged beautiful brass taps that would showcase the natural properties of the metal and develop a unique character over time. Following many years of chrome and the ‘sterilised’ bathroom look, he felt it was time to bring the warmer tones of unlacquered brass back into the bathroom.

Daniel looked everywhere; he found many artificially aged products, but nothing resembling what he had in mind. And so he decided to return to his roots in engineering and set about designing the taps himself.

Once they were in place, it became clear that Daniel wasn’t the only person who believed that bathroom fittings were ripe for reinvention. Enquiries poured in, demand grew, and Studio Ore was established in response.
