Private residence, Chamberí, Madrid

Natural stone, marble and wood make up this newly refurbished apartment in Madrid. At the center of the project is the kitchen, which curves around an island, where Studio Ore’s Deck Mounted Kitchen Bridge Mixer tap and hand rinse stand over a farmhouse sink. The fittings suit the dark brown wood and patterned marble surfaces. They’re a focal point. Specified in lacquered bronze, the look will hold. It won’t tarnish, won’t change over time. Every material and finish here is important.
